At Persnickety, we have a commitment to give and to help others be more prosperous. So for each Persnickety outfit purchased, one will be donated to a child in need.  

The project started in Nicaragua where there are countless children who have only inadequate, shabby, and ill-fitting clothing to wear.  When new, attractive clothing is given to a child, the expression of sheer delight is forever memorable.  It enhances self-image and confidence.  It sends a much-needed message that someone cares.  It elevates the soul.

There is another benefit.  These dresses are produced by talented seamstresses living in the same country.  These women are elated to have meaningful work and earn above-average income to support their families.  It is a benefit that impacts the next generation.
