It has been a very long time since I have done a blog post. The holidays were so great! My big brother who lives in Nashville came home with his beautiful son to visit for Christmas and it was soooooo great to see them. We had a party every night and lots of get togethers with cousins during the days. It was a year to remember for sure. It was nonstop running here and there and making and eating way more food than should be aloud. Hence I got very sick on New Years day and have been coughing since. I feel better but for a while I was wiped out. I did no work over the break which was a no no but am getting caught up. We will have our photoshoot for fall 2011 in a couple of weeks and then it is off to the reps. We have great reps!!!! Love them all.

They are wonderful and so helpful. They promote our brand beautifully. Thanks Ladies for all of your hard work!!!!
This lovely little rosette top is so soft and cozy to wear. My girls wear them with bell pants, jeans, skirts, and for layering. We have them in lots of colors and it is a staple in any wardrobe. It is nice and long and has a very flattering fit!
I just have to say, if you have never seen the movie “Because of Winn Dixie” I would strongly encourage you see it. My son just read the book for a book report he had for school and then we rented it last night. I am going to buy it for sure! I love good movies. This dress is gone but very cute!
This outfit is available and very fantastic! So soft and so vintage with the girl on the front.
Another rosette paired with some cozy bell pants.
Great for play and cozy time with a book. Thanks Katie from Peekaboo for the lifestyle photos. The hard part about my business is that we have to keep the goods were working on to ourselves for such a long time before we can post pictures. Even though it will get to be seen by the buyers, I would love to be able to post all of the new pictures but can’t for quite a while. I am loving the fall line and it has been fun to be down at the manufactures all week seeing the goods. I can’t wait to get them in my hands and get this photo shoot done. It is by far the hardest part and the funnest. I’m hoping to have it more streamlined this time so that it is not so much work and running around. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for the photographer. It would be intense and you should see these photo shoots. We bust out a lot of work in a day. It about pushes me over the edge every time from the build up of all the work that goes into the whole project, the hours and hours at the manufacture the previous months, and then the intensity of the shoot and then packaging it all up for the reps and rushing to the airport for the very last airplane that leaves for over night air. And then the let down from it all. Doesn’t it sound so fun? Trust me, it is not. That is why we are changing things up a bit here at Persnickety Clothing. No more of that!!!! We have this new kid on the block named Seth Jeppeson and let me tell you, he is whipping things in shape around here. He has taken so much of the burden off of me. I feel like I just cloned myself. Only better! He can do many things I have no idea how to do. I can give him a project and he does it how I want and on time. Imagine that. Needless to say I feel the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders and I can breathe again. I might even be able to pick up a book and perhaps read again. Watch out. We are on fire!!! Oh yes and we picked up a new rep in New England territory too, his name is David Alterwitz, Dalterwitz@netzero.net this is his email address.
Thanks for all of the support and customers who make it all possible. I hope you and your little ones love to wear their Persnickety goods. Spring is just around the corner and it will be shipping soon.
